Alongside counselling and teaching, Louise is a trained mindfulness teacher who has a particular interest in practical approaches that support mental health, wellbeing, and quiet balance in everyday life.   #### **Teaching** Louise particularly enjoys turning theory into practical learning that students can take away and use. Her teaching combines the knowledge required to understand counselling skills with opportunities to explore how they actually look and feel in practice. She aims to create a supportive, engaging and inclusive environment where learners can ask questions, experiment with new skills and learn from their own experience without feeling judged.   #### **Counselling Experience** Louise is a BACP-registered integrative counsellor, mindfulness teacher, and coach supporting adults and young people through a wide range of personal challenges. She has extensive experience within community agency settings and runs her own active private practice, Therapy Lou. Louise works from an integrative model, adapting her therapeutic tools to fit what is most helpful for each individual—a philosophy rooted in her belief that everyone learns and grows in their own unique way. This flexible approach shapes both her clinical practice and her teaching style.
